I can't argue with the Savage being a well kept secret, but if we are talking in the $7,500 dollar range I would say that the 1100 V-star classic would be my vote. No disrespect on the Magna intended, I like the looks of the Magna as well as the power that I am sure it has. I would just opt for a few more refinements that would be found the larger V-star. And the price seems to be manageable.
I'm no critic, and quite honestly could not afford another bike at this time, but the V-star will be my next bike if I am able to position myself for a new bike within the near future.
